Our Professional Development initiative involves our SongMakers mentors guiding teachers through a typical SongMakers workshop, equipping them to seamlessly incorporate similar lessons into their classrooms. This not only enhances the professional development of Victorian teachers but also provides a unique opportunity to meet, network, and collaborate. Additionally, teachers gain access to industry professionals, elevating their understanding and connections within the music industry.

SongMakers and Ableton present a unique Professional Development Day for Victorian music teachers.

Building practical strategies to get your students writing and creating original music in the classroom, you’ll be guided through a compacted version of the SongMakers workshop.

Learn how to bring SongMakers into the classroom every day!

This session also provides a unique opportunity to meet, network, and collaborate with other music teachers across Victoria. Additionally, teachers gain access to industry professionals, elevating their understanding and connections within the music industry.

This Professional Development Day is free for Victorian secondary school music teachers, but you must register. Catering will be provided.
